Hello Thursday! Today marks the seventh straight day of rain, and rain is predicted for the remainder of the week. So, no sunshine in sight, which means no tanning...which means a level of paleness that is almost unfathomable. Currently, I am patiently waiting for a cloudless day and bright, warm sunshine. Although, I will say that I am a fan of this moderately cool weather.
I am excitedly waiting for this weekend's sales. I have screenshot everything I want, and I am hoping my finds are on sale and still in stock (crossing my fingers!). I'm on a college budget, so my wardrobe currently survives on sales. I am spying on ASOS, ZARA, Express, UO, DSW, and Abercrombie and praying they come through. Literally counting down the days!!!!!
For the past few weeks, I have tangoed with Financial Aid requirements and my FASFA. There is NOTHING more annoying than filling out a FASFA and financial aid documents for the new school year. Nothing. However, I finally submitted everything, so I'm on my way! (***Insert fist pump to the sky!)
This week, I learned that season 2 of The Sinner will air this summer...This summer?! Ummm, yes! If you have not seen the first season, stop everything and see it now. Every episode can be found here. Microwave some popcorn. Pour something cold. And prepare to be glued to your seat and to chew every fingernail off. So, so thrilling. The news of this renewal filled my TV show gap that the second season of The Arrangement left open!
Did you catch the royal wedding last weekend? I admit that I was a little on the fence about watching it because the thought of 4:30 in the morning was every late riser's nightmare. Furthermore, while I was bright-eyed at the same time in 2011 for the same event (different prince), I am also seven years older, and sleep is more golden than ever. Nevertheless, I sacrificed my late morning by negotiating for a long nap in the afternoon. (If you are curious, here is the link for all the major picture moments from Meghan Markle's wedding. Picture. 15. Is. S-T-U-N-N-I-N-G.) The entire wedding left me nostalgic over the royal wedding from 2011. I am embarrassed to admit this, but I re-watched Prince William and Kate's wedding and their first interview as a newly-engaged couple. It is so hard to believe that was seven years ago. Where has time gone? Despite it all, dear British monarchy, keep being cute. You are doing just swell.
I might be taking a trip to Savannah this weekend for some shopping action. However, I will mainly be shopping online this weekend because most stores that I want to buy from either: A) Don't exist in the city's mall. B) Never have the items I am searching for. Anyway, have a stellar weekend.
P.S. The results are in, and I despise philosophy. With a passion.
