When I applied pictures to blog posts at the start of creating this website in August, I never realized that I attached the picture of my hometown to Week 16. It's so fitting. I'm going home for winter break today, after my exam this morning. And I couldn't be more thrilled!
Finals' week shaped up well, as well as 'well' could be. I watched my room descend into chaos beginning last week (Seriously, my floor was littered with papers and books.), and I have tediously re-organized it now that I am leaving for a month. I spent countless hours late into these nights working on essays and trying to push myself to my limits. Hopefully, it will pay off this weekend when grades are posted. To fellow college students reading this, we survived the hectic week! We're okay, and that's all that matters. I've been operating on adrenaline the entire week, so as you can imagine, I will be crashing this afternoon. Tomorrow, my family and I are taking a quick trip to Macon for Christmas shopping, so I am super-super excited.
Now that winter break is only hours away, I have determined that I want my break to be proactive through reading (I bought The Snowman based on seeing the thrilling trailer!!), playing the piano, drawing, researching grad schools, and studying for the GRE. Sleep, but be conscious that I'll waste away. At least, those are the things I intend to do. Anyway, have a superb weekend!
